HTML5's "local storage" feature allows web developers to build functional and dynamic web applications without managing, transporting, or securing any user data. Local storage works just like browser cookies do, by writing and storing information both in persistent storage and memory.
The benefit of utilizing local storage for something like this free resume builder/generator is that the user information never leaves the user's local machine and can be completely removed by clearing cache/cookies. In addition to that, I do not have to manage the database containing so much personal data since it doesn't exist. Web storage APIs like LocalStorage and SessionStorage remain fixed at 5 MB.
